SG60 RSG 2025: CHOPE for Healthier SG Charity Walk

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary, Blossom Seeds proudly presented the SG60 Ready, Set, GOLD 2025: CHOPE for Healthier SG Charity Walk at Marina Bay Sands, featuring a scenic route along the Singapore River.

The event drew over 3,000 participants — seniors, families, and partners — walking together in a vibrant display of unity and purpose. A sea of colourful T-shirts symbolised the strength of community, with every step supporting Blossom Seeds’ mission to empower seniors to live healthier, longer, and more connected lives.

The charity walk spotlighted the C.H.O.P.E. initiative (Coordination, Health, Outreach, Partnership, Engagement), highlighting collaborative efforts to bridge the gap between health span and life span, helping seniors age actively, purposefully, and with dignity.

Aligned with NDR 2025’s Age Well Neighbourhoods, Blossom Seeds envisions communities where seniors can care, connect, and contribute, supported by volunteers, corporate, and community partners.

The event was graced by Minister Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Advisor to & Adviser to Sembawang GRC GROs (Sembawang Central), together with Mr Vikram Nair, Adviser to Sembawang GRC GROs (Admiralty), Ms Mariam Jaafar, Adviser for Sembawang GRC (Woodlands) , and Mr Gabriel Lam, Adviser to Sembawang GRC GROs (Canberra).

As Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared at the National Day Rally 2025,

“We will build a Singapore where every senior, no matter where they live, can age with dignity, purpose, and joy.”

Together, we move toward a Healthier SG, where every step counts.
