𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Uncle Jeremy and Aunty Sarah (both in their 70s) may have children living overseas, but they have built a caring family in Sembawang community. From coordinating Blossom Seeds’ communal dining volunteers and caring for them, to staying strong through Gym Tonic and Say No to Frailty, their dedication is truly inspiring.
Aunty Sarah shared: “𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞’𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.”
