Digitalisation of Programmes - President's Challenge
Blossom Seeds is pleased to be awarded by President’s Challenge 2021 (PC2021) to empower vulnerable groups by “Building a Digitally Inclusive Society”.
For the past year since the advent of Covid 19 Pandemic, our team including volunteers has been working hard to bring the home-based & active ageing seniors at the centre onto the digital platforms. The award is a great acknowledgement of the team’s efforts and support towards building the Digitally Inclusive Society.
We also received support from our community partners, including Singapore Management University, Blossom World Society, Canberra Secondary School and SG Digital to engage our seniors to learn and practise the gadgets.
As a result, many seniors can engage and watch our activities on zoom and FB beamed from our centre. Exceptional success is seen in seniors able to keep in touch with their friends all over the world.
