Community Befriending Programme (CBP)
We recognized that there are many seniors who are living alone, frail and at risk of social isolation. To this end, we partner Council for Third Age (C3A) to provide structured befriending services and psycho-social support through volunteers in the community to care for needy elderly and their caregivers in Sembawang and Canberra Constituencies.
·Provide companionship and emotional support for socially at risk seniors
·Provide holistic care to seniors such as coming to our centre/outings
·Encourage the seniors to contribute back to the community in return
