Hari Raya joy takes flight at Changi Airport
𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟓𝟎 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝟔𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝟗𝟖, frail, vulnerable seniors and volunteers stepped out of their daily routines and into a world of wonder at Changi Airport. From the mesmerising waterfall (Wonderfall) at Terminal 2 to the Skytrain ride and the Jewel Changi Airport Vortex, every moment sparked smiles, memories, and connection.
A special thank you to Ms Poh Li San for warmly welcoming our seniors and making the day even more meaningful. From our oldest senior, Aunty Lee (98) and her buddy Michelle (70), to many others journeying together in this outing was a beautiful reminder that no one walks alone.
More than a trip, it was a 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭, bringing our seniors closer to the world, and to one another. Thank you Youth Corps Singapore youth volunteers for supporting our seniors. Thank you Changi Airport for welcoming our seniors for a memorable day.
