Vesak Day Goodie Bags Distribution 17 May 2025
This Vesak Day, we were heartened to have distributed a total of 800 goodie bags filled with love and essential items to our senior beneficiaries under the Medical Escort & Transport (MET) and Befriending Services across Singapore. On 17 May, we launched our first distribution, with the support and heart work of over 100 passionate volunteers!
At Blossom Seeds, we firmly believe that no senior should be left behind—every elder deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for by their community. This initiative reminds us that even a simple act of kindness can create a profound and lasting impact. A thoughtful gesture can uplift spirits, spark connection, and reaffirm that our seniors are never alone.
Take the inspiring story of Mdm Magdelene, one of our Medical Escort & Transport and Befriender beneficiaries. At 94 years old, she lives alone—yet she remains a pillar of strength, caring for her son who is battling cancer.
Thanks to the care and support she receives from the community, she finds the strength to continue giving. Her resilience speaks for many seniors who, despite their age and isolation, continue to shoulder deep responsibilities with grace.
