Vesak Goodie Bag Distribution (Sembawang West)
On 28th August, we had our 4th round of Vesak Goodie Bag distribution. It was much anticipated as we moved forward with the remaining distributions, which were long postponed due to the Heightened Alert.
We had the honour of having Ms Poh Li San, MP for Sembawang West, grace our distribution session. Along with volunteers from The People's Association, Silver Generation Office, Assyafaah Mosque and our own pool of volunteers, we distributed the Vesak Goodie Bags to residents at the rental block. We were blessed to experience good weather that morning amidst the daily downpour lately- making our effort less challenging. Even with safe distancing measures being observed, we had an enjoyable time interacting with the residents and sharing the joy with them!
