Infection Control and Precautions for COVID-19
Blossom Seeds invited Mr A Hadi B. Kamarolzaman to share his experience on Infection control and precautions for COVID 19 on Friday 21 February 2020 at our Activity for Seniors in Canberra.
The 2 hour session is conducted for the benefit of our staff and volunteers, who are still supporting our frail seniors for Medical Escort & Transport (MET) and vulnerable seniors at their own residence (CBP). Our Community partners from Gambas grassroot, BW Monastery, Assyafaah Mosque and supporters also joined us for the session. Key topics covered include the importance of personal hygiene as the first line of protection, the use and disposal of mask and environment cleanliness to reduce spread of COVID-19.
Everyone benefited from his sharing about supporting SARS patients in 2003. All the participants went away happy equipped with more knowledge and with their questions answered.
About the Speaker
Mr A Hadi B. Kamarolzaman was the Recipient of the National Day Courage Award for Contribution during SARS and has a Master of Nursing (Mental Health) & Associate Lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
